| One of the most important things you can do to enjoy the full richness of these pieces is to light them! The tonal (color temperature) quality of Halogen light is best to portray the naturally lit subjects.
I learned a very cool lighting technique from Matt Weston, grandson of Edward Weston. You use two halogen lights. One is a flood bulb that washes light on the entire picture. Then you aim a halogen spotlight at the most important visual focal point where the natural light was illuminating the subject. This creates an amazing sense of depth in the picture. (More Coming) |
